Use the Overview tab to design components and content of the Web page end-users will view while navigating a SecureAuth IdP realm.

The Overview tab is comprised of these sections to be configured:

  • Overview Tab Settings (version 9.1+) Details – configuration affects the Web Admin and end-user pages
  • Look and Feel – configuration affects the Web Admin and end-user pages
  • Page Content – configuration affects end-user pages
  • Advanced Settings – optional configuration affects end-user email delivery, end-user page customization, verbage in the Web Admin / end-user pages

Click Save after configuring settings on this tab.

Realm Name

The non-configurable realm name and auto-incremented realm number generated by SecureAuth IdP is assigned at the time the realm is created and is used to identify the SecureAuth IdP realm – e.g. SecureAuth13

The Realm Name of a given realm appears in the following locations:

Web Admin home page (SecureAuth0)

1. Realm summary page (note that realms are listed in order by realm number)

2. Realm search results page

Realm Navigation menu

3. The realm currently being configured is displayed in the header

4. All realm names are dislayed in the scrolling realm navigation menu

End-user pages

5. Note the realm name at the end of URL

Realm Description

Customizable internal-only field for the admin to identify this realm

The Realm Description appears on:

  1. Realm navigation menu, beneath the Page Header
  2. Web Admin home page (SecureAuth0) beneath Page Header of each realm

Theme

The selected template defines the appearance of end-user pages and can be modified using the CSS Editor in the Advanced Settings section

In SecureAuth IdP version 9.2:

  • The 2012 and Legacy themes are deprecated

For appliances upgraded to version 9.2, if either the 2012 or Legacy theme was implemented prior to the upgrade, that theme will be converted to the 2016 Light theme

  • The 2016 Dark theme is not available on new appliances

For appliances upgraded to version 9.2, the 2016 Dark theme still appears as a menu option

Displayed Name

The profile property that will be displayed upon successful authentication

Location

Controls whether the Displayed Name is shown in the header of the page or hidden from view

  1. Shown in Header: the Displayed Name is shown in the header of the page
  2. Not Shown: the Displayed Name is hidden

Forgot Username URL

The link to the realm that the end-user will use for Forgot Username / Forgot Password is entered in the Forgot Username URL field by inputting the realm name and number prepended by a forward slash '/' – e.g. /SecureAuth9

The link to the Forgot Password realm the end-user will use is entered in the Forgot Password URL field by inputting the realm name and number prepended by a forward slash '/'  – e.g. /SecureAuth9

Location

This setting configures where on the end-user's web page the Forgot Username / Forgot Password links are located

  1. Under Input Field: Display the Forgot Username / Forgot Password links beneath the respective input fields on the Login page
  2. Page Footer: Display the Forgot Username / Forgot Password links at the footer of the Login page and Post Authentication page

Restart Login URL

The Restart Login URL field appears blank by default; the URL is automatically set to the current realm name, appended by 'restart.aspx' – e.g. https://company.com/SecureAuth13/restart.aspx

To have the end-user restart from another URL, enter the URL of that realm in this field

Location

Controls where the Restart Login link is shown on the Login and Post Authentication pages

  1. Not Shown: the Restart Login link does not appear on either page
  2. Footer: appears in the footer of the Login page and the Post Authentication page
  3. Header: appears in the page header of the Login page and the Post Authentication page
  4. Dynamic: the Restart Login link could appear in either the page header or footer of the Login page / Post Authentication page (depending on the page contents)
